Hello friends and familia!
So I have been in the Pines of Quisisana for a month now and so far so good! I haven't hit my mid-point freak out yet, and im hoping it stays that way. My job has changed and I am no longer a chambermaid! I am the nanny for the owner's grandchildren and i absolutely love it. I watch a cute little girl named Annie most of the time. She is 3 and keeping me young ;). The older boy is Jerry and he is 6.
After a few weeks of rehearsals we finally have our shows (Damn Yankees and "Old Friends" a Broadway Revue). I am in the ensemble of Damn Yankees and am enjoying that =). I am in a great couple of numbers in the revue. It is a beautiful revue full of Sondheim music. I sing "Not A Day Goes By" from Merrily We Role Along. It's a song that most of the time reminds me of my mom and makes me cry when I sing it, but I'm starting to finally get used to performing it without losing it. It is truly a beautiful song and I feel lucky I get to sing it.
Social-wise, Quisi is AMAZING. I have made so many friends that I know will be sticking around after this summer is over. I met a very talented girl named Jodi Bluestien who has quickly become a best friend. I have also made great friends like Will and Kat! It's exciting to have these new people in my life!
There hasnt really been much drama other then hook-ups- but that really isn't drama! That is just good "clean" Quisi fun! lol. I'm at Quisi as a taken woman this summer so none of that for me. And boy, am I happy about that =)
My best friend Gavin Brown is here with me, and thank god he is because I might be a different, unhappy Stefani if he wasn't. I had spent far too much time apart from him. We do well at long distance, but 6 months is WAY too long without my bester.
Brian Wible is also here with me! He will always be one of my best friends and I am so happy to see his face everyday!
Quisi prom is on Saturday. Jodi, William, Phil and I are going as Quisi Shore. Pics will be up soon!
I wish I had better things to say on this blog, but that is the update of my life! And I didn't want to keep you waiting TOO long.
I'll update soon.
Love,
Stef
